What is the deadline to apply/donate?
Applications and donations must be submitted by January 31, 2020.
Are donations tax deductible?
Who is eligible and what are the requirements for submitting an application?
Any student that is currently attending or accepted to a university or trade school and is an immediate family member of a primary HAR member in good standing.
Qualified applicants must:
- Complete the video submission portion of the application (criteria listed in application)
- Provide a letter of recommendation from an HAR member in good standing
- Provide a character reference letter from third party (not related to applicant)
- Provide a current copy of high school or college transcript showing at least a 2.5 GPA
How will I know if my application was received?
An e-mail acknowledgment will be sent to the address listed in the application to confirm receipt of the submitted form.
How many applicants will be selected as winners of the scholarship?
The number of recipients will be determined by the amount of funds available.
Who selects the recipients and how are they chosen?
The TRLP selection committee will meet before 2/7/2020 to determine recipients on a need’s basis. All qualified applicants who submitted completed applications will be considered.
What amount will be awarded?
Up to $10,000
Where will the money come from?
All funds are raised by the TRLP class of 2019.
When will the scholarship recipients be chosen, announced and awarded?
Recipients of the scholarship will be chosen by February 7, 2020 and announced by February 10, 2020. The recipients will have the opportunity to attend a reception to be presented with their scholarship on February 18, 2020.
How will I be notified about the status of my application?
You will be notified via email or phone based on the information provided on the application.
